1, the air filter is not clean

Air filter is not clean will cause increased resistance, air flow is reduced, inflation efficiency decreases, resulting in engine power. Should be cleaned according to the requirements of the diesel air filter core or remove the dust on the paper filter element, replace the filter element when necessary.

 

2、Exhaust pipe obstruction

Exhaust obstruction will cause the exhaust does not flow smoothly, fuel efficiency decreases. Power down. Should check whether the exhaust pipe due to too much carbon in the exhaust caused by increased resistance. The general exhaust back pressure should not exceed 3.3kPa, and the carbon in the exhaust pipe should be cleared and lowered regularly.

 

3、The oil supply advance angle is too large or too small

The fuel supply advance angle is too large or too small will cause the fuel pump injection time is too early or too late (injection time is too early then the fuel is not fully burned, too late will be white smoke, fuel will also not be fully burned), so that the combustion process is not in the state. At this time should check whether the injection drive shaft connector screw is loose, if loose, then should be re-adjusted according to the requirements of the fuel supply advance angle, and tighten the screw.

 

4, piston and cylinder liner strain

As the piston and cylinder liner strains or wear over, and piston ring gum caused by friction loss increases, resulting in the engine's own mechanical loss increases, compression ratio decreases, ignition difficulties or insufficient combustion, under the inflatable increase, serious air leakage. At this time, the cylinder liner, piston and piston ring should be replaced.

 

5, the fuel system is faulty

　　(1) the fuel filter or pipeline into the air or blockage, resulting in the oil circuit is not smooth, insufficient power, and even difficult to fire. Should clear the air into the pipeline, clean the diesel filter, and replace if necessary.

　　(2) the oil injection coupling damage caused by oil leakage, bite or atomization is poor, this is easy to lead to lack of cylinders, engine power. Should be promptly cleaned, ground or replaced with new.

　　(3) Insufficient injection pump oil supply will also cause a lack of power, should be timely inspection, repair or replacement of the coupling, and re-adjust the injection pump oil supply.

 

6、Cooling and lubrication system is faulty

Diesel engine overheating, is due to cooling or lubrication system failure, such cases will lead to water temperature and oil temperature is too high, easy to pull the cylinder or piston ring seizure phenomenon. When the diesel engine exhaust temperature increases, the cooler and radiator should be checked to remove scale.

 

7, the cylinder head group has a fault

　　(1) due to exhaust gas leakage caused by insufficient intake or intake air mixed with exhaust gas, and then lead to inadequate fuel combustion, power decline. Should repair the valve and valve seat mating surface, to improve its sealing, if necessary, a new.

　　(2) cylinder head and the body of the joint surface leakage will make the cylinder gas into the waterway or oil channel, resulting in coolant into the engine body, if not found in time will lead to "slip tile" or black smoke, so that the engine power. Due to the cylinder gasket damage, there will be an airflow from the cylinder gasket when shifting, the engine will be running at the gasket blisters, at this time should be tightened according to the specified torque cylinder head nuts or replace the cylinder head gasket.

　　(3) incorrect valve clearance will cause air leakage, resulting in a decline in engine power, and even difficult to fire. Should re-adjust the valve clearance.

　　(4) valve spring damage will cause valve return difficulties, valve leakage, gas compression ratio reduced, resulting in engine power shortage. Should promptly replace the damaged valve springs.

　　(5) injector mounting hole leakage or copper gasket damage will cause a lack of cylinder, so that the engine power. Should be removed for repair, and replace the damaged parts. If the water temperature is too low, will lead to increased heat loss, then the entry temperature should be adjusted to meet the specified value.

 

8, connecting rod shaft tile and crankshaft connecting rod journal surface scratches

This situation will be accompanied by abnormal sound and oil pressure drop and other phenomena, which is due to oil channel blockage, oil pump damage, oil filter blockage, or oil hydraulic pressure is too low or even no oil and other reasons. At this time, the side cover of the diesel engine can be disassembled, check the side and clearance of the big head of the connecting rod, see if the big head of the connecting rod can move back and forth, such as can not move, it is said to have bitten the hair, should be overhauled or replace the connecting rod shaft tile.

At this time, for the supercharged diesel engine, in addition to the above reasons will make the power drop, if the supercharger bearing wear, pressure machine and turbine inlet pipeline is blocked by dirt or leakage, can also make the diesel engine power drop. When the supercharger in the above situation, should be serviced or replace the bearings, clean the intake pipe, shell, wipe clean impeller, tighten the joint surface nuts and clamps, etc.
