Diesel Generator Turbocharger Replacement Steps and Operating Generator Misconduct

Diesel generators are a type of electrical equipment often used in everyday life, and many construction projects use generators as a source of electricity. Many companies often rent generators due to budget constraints.
Diesel generator turbocharger replacement steps
1, generator rental clean the engine and replace the filter. Drain the dirty oil, use 70% of the diesel oil plus 30% of the engine oil added to the engine, start the engine running 3 to 5min to clean the engine and oil channels, and then drain. Then add in the right amount of oil, run for 5 to 10min and then drain. Replace the oil filter and air filter, and then filter to add clean lubricating oil to the full scale of the oil dipstick, so as to ensure that the engine lubricating oil and oil passages clean and clean.
2, generator rental check turbocharger. Check whether the new turbocharger model matches the engine, rotate the turbocharger rotor by hand should run freely, if the impeller stalls or a feeling of touching the shell, to identify the cause before installation.
3, generator rental check the compressor intake piping and turbine before the engine exhaust piping whether there is debris to prevent debris to break the impeller.
4, generator rental to check the supercharger into the oil pipe and return line. Supercharger into the return line to clean, into the return line can not be twisted and blocked. If the supercharger into the oil return port using gaskets, check whether the gasket corrosion, deformation phenomenon, the gasket can not block the oil return port.
5, generator rental pre-lubricated supercharger. Supercharger installed on the engine, do not access the oil pipe, first from the supercharger into the oil port to add clean oil to the supercharger, and rotate the rotor by hand, so that the supercharger bearings are full of lubricant before connecting the oil pipe.
6, generator rental test run. Start the diesel engine, 3 to 4s supercharger oil inlet must show the oil pressure to prevent damage to the supercharger bearing system due to lack of lubricant. Run 2min, check whether the rotor rotation is smooth and no noise, and then stop, observe whether the rotor can run smoothly by inertia, under normal circumstances about half a minute before stopping the rotation.
7, engine load running, oil pressure must be between 196 ~ 392kPa to be safe, idle running, oil pressure should not be less than 70kPa.
8, after the turbo exhaust back pressure and air filter pressure drop should not exceed 4.9kPa, air filter should avoid moisture, because the wet filter will significantly increase the pressure drop.
Operating generator misconduct
1, diesel generator shutdown without idle cooling, will make the friction surface contains insufficient oil, when the diesel engine will start again due to poor lubrication and increased wear. Therefore, the diesel generator should be removed from the load before shutdown, and gradually reduce the speed, no-load operation for a few minutes.
2, cold start after not warming up with load running diesel generator cold start, due to the oil viscosity, poor fluidity, is the oil pump oil supply is insufficient, the machine friction surface due to lack of oil lubrication, resulting in sharp wear, and even the occurrence of cylinder pulling, burning tile and other failures.
3, the diesel engine cold start after the throttle, if the throttle, the diesel generator speed rises sharply, will cause some of the friction surface of the machine due to dry friction and severe wear.
4, boom throttle when the piston, connecting rod and crankshaft acceptance force changes, causing violent impact, easy to damage the machine parts.
Therefore, the diesel engine should be idle after cooling start to warm up, and then run with load when the oil temperature reaches 40 ℃ or more; the machine should start with a low-speed gear, and drive in each gear in sequence for a period of miles, until the oil temperature is normal, oil supply is sufficient, before turning to normal driving.
