Assembly steps and precautions for diesel generator turbocharger

1, the intermediate shell 2 of the compressor end facing up, the spring snap ring 14 into the compressor end bearing seat hole inside the ring groove, take care not to touch the shaft hole. Then put into the floating bearing 16 and thrust ring 15 with clean oil, and then put in another spring snap ring. When putting in the floating bearing, be careful to put the side end with the oil groove up. After each spring snap ring is installed, check whether the ring is completely inside the ring groove.
 
2、Turn the turbine end of the intermediate shell upward as described in step 1 and install the spring snap ring, floating bearing and thrust ring into the bearing hole of the turbine end in order, and pay attention to the end with the oil groove on the side when installing the floating bearing.
 
3, two rings made of fine wire on the fingers, the two elastic sealing ring 9 open, set into the turbine rotor shaft 5 sealing ring groove, pay attention not to force too hard, so as not to cause permanent deformation of the elastic sealing ring or cause fracture.
 
4, turbo rotor auxiliary on the two elastic sealing ring opening position should be staggered 180 °, and then on the sealing ring wipe clean oil, carefully insert the rotor into the intermediate shell. When assembling, take care not to make the shaft steps and threads touch the surface of the floating bearing bore.
 
In addition, in order to prevent the ring from slipping out from one side of the set or broken, so the elastic seal ring relative to the rotor shaft position to be centered, and rely on the intermediate shell seat hole on the taper for guidance, so that it can smoothly slide into the seal ring seat hole.
 
5、Hold the turbine impeller that has been installed into the intermediate shell by hand, clamp the hexagonal table shoulder at the outlet of the turbine impeller in a vise, and hold the intermediate shell gently by hand to prevent accidental tilting, and pay attention to prevent the turbine rotor shaft 5 from slipping out of the intermediate shell.
 
6, the thrust piece 8, spacer 10 set on the shaft and then put the thrust bearing 13 wiped with clean oil, pay attention to the thrust bearing plane above the oil hole to be aligned with the intermediate shell on the oil hole, and then put the stop gasket 21, tighten the four bolts 22, the stop gasket flip side insurance, lock the four bolts. Then put another thrust piece on the shaft and put in the oil retaining plate 12, pay attention to the oil guide tongue on the oil retaining plate, must be extended into the oil return cavity.
 
7, will have been equipped with elastic seal ring shaft seal 7 smear clean oil and installed into the corresponding seat hole on the gas seal plate 11, installed into the two rings before the opening position staggered, so that they are 180 ° apart, another "O" shaped rubber seal ring into the outer circle of the gas seal plate 11 ring groove, in order to facilitate the pressure into the middle shell, the rubber seal ring on the outer surface of the appropriate smear Some thin oil, and then pressed into the intermediate shell.
 
8. After aligning the rotor and the dynamic balance mark on the compressor impeller 4, set the compressor impeller, screw the self-locking nut 6 and tighten it until it is aligned with the dynamic balance mark on the auxiliary end face (the tightening torque is 39~44N.m (4~4.5kgf-m) at this time). Do not allow the impeller of the compressor to rotate relative to the shaft when tightening (if the impeller of the compressor cannot be smoothly set into the shaft, the impeller of the compressor can be heated by dipping into boiling water and then set into it).
 
9, from the vise to remove the assembled combination, according to the original mark into the leafless volute 3, pay attention to the assembly should not be skewed so as not to touch the top part of the turbine blade, and then installed on the turbine end pressure plate 17 and stop gasket 18 tighten the hexagonal nut (tightening torque of 39N-m (4kgf-m)), the stop gasket flap lock the nut.
 
10、Assemble the compressor housing into the intermediate housing by aligning the marks. Before assembling, put the "V" clamp 23 into the middle gate shell, and pay attention to the assembly not to be skewed so as not to touch the top part of the impeller blade of the compressor shell arc part, put on the "V" clamp and tighten the bolt (tightening torque is 14.7N-m (1.5kgf-m)).
 
11、Inject clean oil into the oil inlet hole of the intermediate shell and use it to rotate the impeller, which should be rotated flexibly and listen carefully to check whether there is any sound of touching.
 
12、After the total assembly, the following two items should be measured.
 
(1) the measurement of the rotor axial movement of the turbo compressor, the micrometer suction iron table seat on the surface of the turbine shell export flange, the end of the micrometer measuring rod top in the turbine impeller export at the hexagonal shoulder plane, and then push and pull the rotor shaft that the maximum axial movement is measured, the value should be less than 0.25mm. if more than this value, should further check the thrust bearing and thrust piece and other parts of the combination. This method can be used for the supercharger has been installed in the case of diesel engine determination.
 
(2) The radial clearance of the compressor is shown in Figure 1-4, and the minimum clearance between the impeller blade of the compressor and the compressor casing is measured with a thick and thin plug gauge after the self-locking nut is pressed on the rotor shaft with a finger from radial direction. This clearance should be greater than 0.15mm, less than this value should be disassembled to check. Check carefully not to damage the impeller blades, this method can be installed in the supercharger on the diesel engine.
