The high temperature alarm failure of diesel generator sets is generally more common in summer. When the high temperature alarm occurs in the unit, the user should stop the machine in time to check and eliminate the cause of the failure. Intensified friction between parts and other damage to the machine may even cause the machine to be "scrapped" in severe cases. However, if the user can do the following points, the high temperature alarm failure of the diesel generator set can be effectively avoided.

       The high temperature alarm failure of diesel generator sets is generally more common in summer. When the high temperature alarm occurs in the unit, the user should stop the machine in time to check and eliminate the cause of the failure. Intensified friction between parts and other damage to the machine may even cause the machine to be "scrapped" in severe cases. However, if the user can do the following points, the high temperature alarm failure of the diesel generator set can be effectively avoided.
 
       1. Avoid long-term overload operation of the unit: The diesel generator set will be overloaded for a long time, which will increase its fuel consumption and heat load, resulting in excessive water temperature.
       2. Replenish the coolant in time: regularly check the coolant stock in the radiator and expansion tank, and replenish it in time when the liquid level is low. Because if there is a lack of coolant in the diesel engine cooling system, it will affect the heat dissipation effect of the diesel engine and cause the high temperature alarm of the diesel generator set.
       3. Avoid mutual interference of cooling devices (construction machinery): If the hydraulic oil radiator and the water radiator are placed in tandem, when the temperature of the hydraulic oil is too high, the temperature of the cold air on the air inlet side of the water radiator will be too high, which will affect the Water radiator to dissipate heat. In this regard, the heat dissipation of the hydraulic system should be overhauled to reduce the influence of the hydraulic oil radiator on the poor heat dissipation of the water radiator of the diesel engine.
       4. Regularly check whether the fan belt of the diesel generator set is loose and whether the fan shape is abnormal. If the fan belt of the diesel generator set is too loose, it is easy to cause the fan speed to decrease, causing the radiator to fail to exert its proper heat dissipation capacity, resulting in excessively high temperature of the diesel generator set. In addition, the deformation of the fan will also cause the heat dissipation capacity of the radiator to not be fully utilized.
       5. Regularly clean the radiator: The most common phenomenon is the attachment of debris on the surface of the radiator. The attached debris will reduce the heat dissipation area of ​​the radiator and the windward area of ​​the radiator, which will reduce the heat dissipation capacity of the radiator and cause diesel fuel. The generator set is hot.
       6. Regularly clean the cooling system of the diesel engine: when checking the upper and lower water chambers of the radiator, the temperature difference between the upper and lower water chambers is generally 6 to 12 °C. If it is too small, the water pump can be replaced. Too much scale in the water pump will also affect the heat dissipation efficiency of the fins in the radiator and reduce the thermal conductivity of the coolant and cold air. At the same time, avoid the use of low-quality coolant to reduce the formation of scale.
