China's standards for various internal combustion generator sets are
GB/T 2820-2009 "Reciprocating internal combustion engine-driven alternating current generator sets" (equivalent to the international standard IS08528 series, with 12 parts), JB/T 10303---2001 "Technical conditions for industrial frequency diesel generator sets", GB/T 2819--1995 "General technical conditions for mobile power stations" and GB/T 12786-2006 General Technical Conditions for Automated Diesel Generator Sets", etc.
For each specific industry the standards are
GJB 4491--2002 (General Specification for Diesel Generator Sets for Fixed Communication Power Stations) for the military sector, YD/T 502--2007 "Diesel Generator Sets for Communication" for the post and telecommunications sector, GB/T 13032-2010 "Diesel Generator Sets for Ships" for the marine sector, and JGJ/T16 "Electrical Design Code for Civil Buildings -92 3.1 stipulates: the load level of fire pumps, fire elevators, smoke control facilities, automatic fire alarms, automatic fire extinguishing devices, fire emergency lighting, electric fire doors and windows, shutters, valves and other fire-fighting electricity in civil buildings shall comply with the current national "Fire Code for High-rise Civil Building Design" and "Building Design Fire Code", etc.
In addition, in today's increasingly important environmental protection, the unit itself should have or after other special treatment, its exhaust emissions and noise should conform to the provisions of GB 16297-1996 "Comprehensive Emission Standards for Air Pollutants" and GB 12348 - 2008 "Emission Standards for Noise from Factory Boundaries of Factory Enterprises". For the products that meet the relevant standards, they can obtain the inspection certificates issued by the relevant state departments.
The selection of the capacity of the self-provided generator set, there is no unified calculation formula in the country, so the methods used by the designers in practice are different: some are simply determined by 10%-20% of the capacity of the power transformer; some are added by the capacity of the fire-fighting equipment; some are selected according to the will of the investors, resulting in the inaccuracy of the selection of the capacity of the self-provided generator set. If the capacity is too large, the investment will be wasted, and if the capacity is too small, it will not meet the requirements in case of accident.
The choice of the unit
1, the choice of the number of units: when the motor starting capacity to choose the capacity of the generator set, the number of generators can not be more, because the number of units increased, the single capacity is small, may not meet the motor starting requirements. Generally when the capacity does not exceed 800kw, the choice of a single machine is good, when the capacity of 800kw or more, it is appropriate to choose two, and two units of various physical parameters should be the same, to facilitate parallel operation of the unit.
2, the choice of other features: civil building backup emergency generator set should be selected for high-speed diesel generator sets and brushless automatic excitation device. The selected unit should be equipped with fast automatic starting and power automatic switching device, and should have the function of three consecutive self-starting. It is not suitable to use compressed air to start, and 24V battery set is generally used as the starting power source.
