       1. Running when the oil is insufficient
       Running when the oil is insufficient will cause insufficient oil supply to the friction surfaces of the diesel generator set due to insufficient oil supply, resulting in abnormal wear or burns. Therefore, before starting the diesel generator, it is necessary to ensure that the oil is sufficient to prevent the failure of cylinder pulling and tile burning due to lack of oil.
       2. Emergency shutdown with load or immediate shutdown after unloading the load suddenly
       As the water circulation of the cooling system stops after the diesel generator set is turned off, the heat dissipation capacity of the unit decreases sharply, and the heated parts cannot be effectively cooled, which may easily cause the cylinder head, cylinder liner, cylinder block and other parts to overheat, resulting in cracks, or excessive expansion of the piston. Died in the cylinder liner. In addition, if the diesel generator set is stopped without cooling at idle speed, the friction surface will not contain enough oil, and when the diesel engine is restarted, the wear will be aggravated due to poor lubrication.        3. Running with load without warming up after cold start
       After the diesel engine is cooled and started, it should run at idle speed to heat up, and run with load when the standby oil temperature reaches above 40°C. If the machine runs under load without warming up after a cold start, the unit will suffer from high viscosity and poor fluidity of the oil, insufficient oil supply from the oil pump, and poor lubrication of the friction surface of the machine due to lack of oil, resulting in wear, and even failures such as cylinder pulling and tile burning.

       Booming the throttle will cause the speed of the diesel generator set to increase sharply, causing some friction surfaces of the generator set to be severely worn due to dry friction. In addition, the acceptance force of the piston, connecting rod and crankshaft changes greatly when the throttle is hit, causing severe impact and easy damage to the parts.

       Insufficient cooling water for diesel generator sets will reduce its cooling effect, and the diesel engine will overheat because it cannot be effectively cooled; if the oil temperature of the cooling water and engine oil is too high, it will also cause the diesel engine to overheat. At this time, the cylinder head, cylinder liner, piston assembly and valve of the diesel generator are mainly subjected to a large thermal load, and their mechanical properties such as strength and toughness drop sharply, which increases the deformation of the parts, reduces the matching gap between the parts, and accelerates the wear of the parts. , In severe cases, cracks and mechanical jamming will occur. Overheating of the diesel generator will also deteriorate the combustion process of the diesel engine, causing the injector to malfunction, poor atomization, and increased carbon deposition.
