       Excessive engine oil can cause the following hazards:

       (1) Excessive oil level is easy to generate oil and gas under the agitation of the big end of the connecting rod, and it will catch fire and burn in case of high temperature, causing the explosion of the crankcase. Therefore, the general oil level line should be slightly lower than the scale on the oil dipstick. If the oil level is too high, it will be counterproductive.

       (2) When the engine is working, due to the agitation of the crankshaft, the oil foams and deteriorates, which increases the rotational resistance of the crankshaft. In addition, the high oil level will hinder the movement of the connecting rod, thereby reducing the mechanical efficiency.

       (3) The oil consumption increases due to the increased combustion due to the oil escaping to the combustion chamber. After the oil is burned, it is easy to form carbon deposits on the piston rings, the valve seat on the top of the piston, and the fuel injection nozzle, resulting in the seizure of the piston ring and the blockage of the fuel injection nozzle.

       (4) Too much oil is easy to leak at the front and rear ends of the crankshaft, which increases the consumption of oil, pollutes the environment, and increases the difficulty of maintenance.

 

       Adding too much oil to the generator set is harmful and unprofitable. In addition to being careful not to add too much oil, users should also remember that when the oil is insufficient, the oil should be added in time, the oil should be replaced every 250 hours of accumulated working time, and the old and new oil should be used separately. , Mixed use of different brands of oil is prohibited, etc., to ensure that the unit maintains the best lubrication state.
