1. Continue to use coolant all year round, don't forget to add antifreeze to the coolant, and pay attention to the continuity of coolant use. Some users think that there is no need to add antifreeze to the coolant in summer, this idea is wrong. Because the antifreeze prevents the coolant from boiling prematurely, it raises the boiling point of the coolant and prevents the water tank from "opening up" prematurely. In addition, antifreeze also contains rust inhibitor and foam inhibitor. The rust inhibitor can delay or prevent the rust and corrosion of the generator set water jacket wall and radiator. The air in the coolant will generate a lot of foam under the agitation of the pump impeller, which will hinder the heat dissipation of the water jacket wall. Foam inhibitors can effectively inhibit the generation of foam.
 
 2. According to the temperature in the area of ​​use, choose coolant with different freezing points. The freezing point of the coolant is at least 10°C lower than the lowest temperature in the area, so as not to lose the anti-freezing effect. If you buy a concentrated cooling liquid, such as ethylene glycol type concentrated cooling liquid, you can add an appropriate amount of pure water in proportion to prepare a cooling liquid suitable for the temperature of the local area.
 
3. The type of coolant should be selected according to the specific structural characteristics of various generator sets. For generator sets with high strengthening coefficient, high boiling point coolant should be used; for generator sets made of aluminum alloy for cylinder block or radiator, silicate additives should be selected. coolant.
