       1. After the diesel generator set is started, the speed should be slowly increased. After checking and confirming that everything is in good condition, the no-load operation from low speed to rated speed can be carried out. During no-load operation, focus on checking the oil pressure, whether there is any abnormal noise, excitation current, three-phase voltage changes, etc. If there is any abnormality, it should be stopped immediately for inspection. After checking the situation, start again. If everything is normal, it can be put into normal operation. The operator should closely monitor the changes of the instruments on the control screen, check whether the data is within the permitted range, and make corresponding adjustments.

       2. When operating the unit, the operator should wear labor protection equipment and keep a safe distance from the live equipment. Attention should be paid to the sequence of the switching operation. If there is a power failure, the branch switches should be disconnected first, then the main switch should be disconnected, and then the four-pole double-throwing knife switch should be switched. When sending power, the sequence is reversed. During normal shutdown, part of the load should be removed first, then the main switch should be turned off, and finally the diesel engine should be turned off. Routine inspection of diesel generator set after shutdown, and record the operation.

In the event of an electric shock, the power switch should be cut off immediately, or the power supply should be cut off or disconnected from the power supply quickly with insulating appliances. Then carry out rescue, and ask a doctor to come to the scene for rescue. In case of electrical equipment fire, immediately cut off the relevant power supply, and report to the local power supply station, and then carry out fire fighting. Use dry fire extinguishers, carbon dioxide fire extinguishers, etc. for live equipment firefighting, and do not use water to put out fires.

It is also worth noting that for new diesel generator sets or diesel generator sets that have not been used for a long time, they must undergo strict inspections before they are put into normal operation, mainly checking the insulation of windings and wiring. If there is any discrepancy, it can be used immediately after necessary processing.
