What are the factors of the fuel system for the insufficient power of the diesel engine?

After the diesel engine runs for a long time, the problem of insufficient power often occurs due to the wear of parts, improper operation and adjustment, and untimely maintenance. For example, due to excessive overload, long running time, insufficient or interrupted coolant flow, etc., the working temperature of the diesel engine is too high, which will reduce the amount of air entering the cylinder, resulting in the incomplete combustion of fuel, and the power of the diesel engine. Lowering it will also cause a lack of power.

 

Insufficient power of the diesel engine is manifested in the fact that the diesel engine runs evenly, without high speed, and the exhaust volume of the exhaust pipe is too small; the diesel engine runs unevenly, and the exhaust pipe exhausts abnormally.

 

(1) The diesel engine runs evenly, without high speed, and the exhaust volume of the exhaust pipe is small. The power of the equipment is insufficient and the acceleration is not sensitive. After stepping on the accelerator pedal, the speed cannot be increased to the specified value. The main factors of the fuel system when the exhaust volume of the exhaust pipe is too small are:

 

1. The oil pump is not working well or the low-pressure oil circuit is blocked, resulting in insufficient oil supply.

 

2. The fuel injection pump cannot guarantee the maximum fuel supply.

 

3. The stroke of the throttle lever cannot guarantee the maximum fuel supply.

 

4. The fuel injection of the injector is abnormal.

 

5. The choice of diesel grades is not equal.

 

6. There is air in the low pressure oil circuit system (there is an air leak point).

 

(2) The fuel system factors when the diesel engine runs unevenly and the exhaust pipe emits black smoke.

 

1. The fuel supply of the fuel injection pump is too small or the fuel supply of each cylinder is uneven.

 

2. The fuel injection advance angle is too large.

 

3. The injector spray quality is poor or the injector drips oil.

 

4. The diesel quality is poor.
