When a large diesel generator set is running, it usually produces 95-125dB(A) noise. The noise mainly includes the intake and exhaust noise of the engine, the combustion noise, the reciprocating high-speed movement and impact of the connecting rod, piston, gear and other moving parts during operation. The mechanical noise, cooling water exhaust fan airflow noise, etc., the noise reduction in the equipment room needs to be dealt with separately for the causes of the noise.

       When a large diesel generator set is running, it usually produces a noise of 95-125dB(A). If the necessary noise reduction measures are not taken, the noise of the generator set will cause serious damage to the surrounding environment.        The noise reduction of the computer room needs to deal with the causes of the noise separately, mainly in the following ways:
       1. Noise reduction of air intake and exhaust: The air intake channel and exhaust channel of the computer room are respectively used as sound insulation walls, and silencers are set in the air intake channel and exhaust channel. There is a distance in the channel for buffering, which can reduce the intensity of the sound source radiating from the room.
       2. Control mechanical noise: The top and surrounding walls of the computer room are laid with high sound absorption and sound insulation materials, which are mainly used to eliminate indoor reverberation and reduce the sound energy density and reflection intensity in the computer room.        3.        Since the power of large diesel generator sets will decrease after noise reduction, it is necessary to run with dummy load after noise reduction to correct the actual power of the diesel generator set, so as to reduce and avoid accidents and improve the safety factor. At the same time, noise reduction in the computer room generally requires sufficient space in the computer room. If the user cannot provide a computer room with sufficient area, the effect of noise reduction will be greatly affected.
