       Diesel engine water

       When the power part of the diesel generator set, the diesel engine, is filled with water, the cylinder is basically filled with water. Because the water is difficult to be compressed, the piston cannot reach the original top dead center position, the piston stroke is shortened, and the diesel engine cannot be started. The diesel engine shall be dismantled and inspected according to the overhaul standard. The correct steps are: remove the cylinder head, pull out the piston, cylinder liner and other four supporting parts for replacement, remove the crankshaft to clean the scale and rust spots, replace the connecting rod bush, the crank bush and all the matching O-rings, the front and rear oil seals of the crankshaft, etc. Reassemble according to technical requirements, and carry out maintenance according to new machine requirements.

 

       Generator water

       The generator after entering the water is different from the general damp generator. Due to the large amount of moisture entering the motor, it penetrates into various insulating materials of the motor and destroys the insulation of the motor. At this time, check with a 500V megohmmeter, the insulation of the winding to the ground is almost zero, and the generator cannot be used. At this time, the generator manufacturer recommends that the user is best to replace the motor winding. If the winding is not replaced, the motor insulation can be restored as follows.

 

       1. If conditions permit, the rotor of the motor can be pulled out, and the sundries and oil stains on the windings after entering the water can be cleaned up. Can be wiped with gasoline, etc. If the rotor of the motor cannot be pulled out due to the limitation of the site conditions, it is also necessary to carefully check whether there is any debris inside the motor and clean it properly.

       2. The stator and rotor of the motor can be placed to drip water vertically, and heaters such as electric stove, coal stove, heater and other heater can be used to heat the motor winding, or

Use a large electric fan to blow against the motor to speed up the evaporation of water. There are motors with moisture-proof heating tapes that can be energized to heat the windings.

       3. After the windings are dried, the windings are treated with quick-drying paint, and the insulation is measured with a 500V megohmmeter.

       4. The unit does not generate power and idling (unplug the stator wires F1 and F2 of the motor exciter from the AVR), and dry and evaporate the water. Before the motor generates electricity, a megger should be used to measure the resistance of the winding insulation to ground.
