       4. Internal leakage of the high-pressure oil pump.

       5. The main reason for the rise of the oil level caused by the coolant flowing into the crankcase is the crack of the cylinder block connected with the water jacket, and the damage to the sealing ring between the wet cylinder liner and the cylinder block, resulting in water leakage to the crankcase.

 

       Diagnosis and treatment methods

       1. First take out the oil dipstick and drop a few drops of oil on the paper to observe the color of the oil and smell the smell. If the color is milky and there is no other odor, water has entered the crankcase. It should be eliminated according to the water leakage fault of the cooling system.

       2. If the oil turns black and has the smell of diesel oil, when the viscosity of the oil is checked by twisting the oil with fingers, the viscosity is obviously too low, indicating that the diesel oil has been mixed into the oil. Start the diesel generator set to observe whether it is running well. If the exhaust pipe emits black smoke and the rotation speed is abnormal after starting the diesel generator set, check whether the nozzle of the fuel injector is closed and whether there is any leakage and repair it. If the diesel generator set has insufficient power under normal working temperature, check whether the plunger pair of the fuel injection pump leaks diesel oil and replace it. If the diesel generator set is running normally, the oil leakage of the oil transfer pump should be dismantled and repaired.

       3. For the failure of diesel oil flowing down due to low temperature during use and raising the oil level of the crankcase, you should change the bad start-up operation habits, or deal with the low temperature of the diesel generator set.

 

       When the oil level of the diesel generator set in operation does not drop but rises, it is certain that there must be some faults in the unit. At this time, you don't need to panic, just check and maintain the above methods on time. After processing, the old must be replaced. The oil is released, and the lubrication system is cleaned, and then new oil of the specified grade is added again.
