Diesel generator intake and exhaust system mainly consists of air filter, exhaust gas turbocharger, intake manifold, air filter maintenance indicator, exhaust pipe, bellows, bend pipe, industrial type muffler or residential type muffler, etc. The main function of the intake system is to filter out impurities or dust in the air, provide clean and fresh air into the cylinder, provide the right concentration of mixture for the unit, and distribute the air-fuel mixture or clean air to each cylinder as evenly and fully as possible. Air intake pipe
The basic diesel generator set in the intake pipe, according to the material points have cast iron and iron two types, the former is generally used for 4, 6 cylinder inline naturally aspirated diesel generator, the latter for 12-cylinder V-shaped and supercharged diesel generator, 12-cylinder V-shaped diesel generator left and right two intake pipe can not be interchangeable, the user in the purchase of accessories, must pay attention to the original model with the same intake pipe, installation, the combination of intake pipe and cylinder head The surface must be sealed, the intake pipe does not allow any debris, otherwise inhaled into the cylinder will cause damage to the machine parts accident.
The role of the air filter is to filter out the dust and impurities in the air, in general, do not allow the air filter to start the diesel generator, otherwise it will lead to early wear of the cylinder liner and piston group parts, shorten the service life of the diesel generator. The air filter of diesel generator has two kinds of filter elements and three structures, as shown in Figure 1-1.
4, 6, 12-cylinder naturally aspirated diesel generators use inertia bath air filter with steel velvet filter element, and supercharged diesel generators use cyclone paper air filter with air inlet resistance indicator on it. When the window of the indicator changes from yellow to red, it means that the filter should be quickly dusted for maintenance. When the resistance indicator fails, the air filter can still be used, but every 100h of work need to clear the dust in the dust collection basin, every 100~250h, take out the wave core gently knock its end, or use compressed air from the cartridge cavity to blow out, but also available brush lightly brush the stained surface, but do not use oil or water to clean, such as found that the cartridge is broken or dirt is not easy to remove, it is necessary to replace the new.
For the inertia air filter of steel velvet cartridge without resistance indicator, generally work about 100h to clean once, depending on the dust in the environment and make appropriate increase or decrease, when cleaning, take out the steel velvet in the gasoline and wash it, and blow dry with compressed air, while cleaning the oil pool of the filter, and then add the appropriate amount of new oil.
The exhaust pipe is made of cast iron, the basic non-boost diesel generator shares one exhaust pipe for each cylinder, the boost diesel generator adopts branch exhaust pipe, the exhaust gas of each cylinder is connected to the booster by two exhaust stubs, the exhaust stubs are designed with a combined structure of sections, and the connection is equipped with expansion joints.
The muffler is used to reduce the exhaust noise of the diesel generator.
