The starting of diesel generator sets requires external force, and the device required to complete the starting process is called starting system or starting device. The starting system of diesel engine is mainly composed of starting motor, battery, rechargeable generator, regulator, lighting equipment, various instruments and signal devices. Diesel generator sets usually use self-starting, self-starting functions of diesel generator sets: when the mains power failure, after delay confirmation, the generator set will start automatically, and then determine whether the generator set can supply power normally, and then supply power to the load. After the utility power returns to normal, the automatic cooling shutdown will be confirmed through a delay. At the same time, it also has many self-protection functions, digital display of voltage, current, frequency, power, power factor, running time, battery voltage, speed and other parameters.

 

There are two ways to start the diesel generator set automatically:

First, key start: first, turn the key clockwise by the diesel generator, release the key after the machine starts normally, then press the module "menu" button to enter the module setting, enter the password according to the prompt, and press "up" after entering. Press the "Down" button to confirm, check whether the oil pressure and water temperature indicators of the diesel generator are normal. After confirming that they are normal, turn the "lift" speed switch to the full speed direction. When the frequency of the diesel generator increases to between 51.5-52HZ, it indicates that it has reached the The highest speed, at this time all indicators are normal, indicating that the diesel generator is running well and the performance debugging is successful. After running for a period of time, it is determined that there is no fault and it needs to be shut down. First, the diesel generator operator will slowly turn the "speed up" knob to the idling direction, and the diesel generator will slow down slowly until the value returns to the position set by the factory before leaving the factory. , before pressing the "emergency stop" button to stop.

 

Second, start the power supply: This is the same as the starting method of the basic generator set. The method is to first turn on the diesel generator power supply, turn the key, and press the start button. When the diesel generator starts successfully, press the emergency stop button to stop. Turn off the key alarm.
