       First, the basis for purchasing diesel generator sets
       When purchasing a diesel generator set, in the face of many brands of generator sets on the market, when choosing to buy, pay attention to the performance and quality of the selected generator set must meet the relevant standards. For example, when purchasing a diesel generator set for communication, it is required that the generator set must meet the requirements of the relevant national standards and the performance index requirements stipulated by the industry, and at the same time, it must pass the quality inspection of power supply equipment established by the industry competent department of our country.
 
       Second, the criteria for purchasing diesel generator sets
       Generally speaking, a qualified diesel generator set generally has the following performance indicators.
       1. Appearance requirements for diesel generator sets
       (1) The limit size, installation size and connection size of the unit shall comply with the product drawings approved by the prescribed procedures.
       (2) The welding of the unit should be firm, the paint film should be uniform, the coating should be smooth, and the fasteners of the unit should not be loose.
       (3) The electrical installation of the unit should conform to the circuit diagram, and each wire connection should have obvious signs that are not easy to fall off.
       (4) The unit should have terminals with good grounding.
       (5) The contents of the unit signs are complete.
       2. Whether the insulation resistance and insulation strength of the diesel generator set meet the requirements.
       3. Phase sequence requirements The phase sequence of the terminals of the control panel of the unit should be arranged from left to right or from top to bottom when viewed from the front of the control panel.
       4. The unit should have a heating device to ensure that the oil temperature and cooling medium temperature are not low during emergency start and rapid loading
at 15°C.
       5. Whether the automatic power supply and automatic shutdown are reliable
       (1) Whether the unit can start automatically after receiving the start command of automatic control or remote control.
       (2) When the unit fails for the third time after the automatic start-up, relevant signals shall be issued;
       (3) The time from the issuance of the automatic start command to the supply of power to the load should not exceed 3 minutes.
       (4) After the unit starts successfully automatically, the initial load should not be less than 50% of the nominal load.
       (5) After receiving the shutdown command of automatic control or remote control, the unit should be able to stop automatically; for the standby unit used with the mains grid, when the grid returns to normal, the unit should be able to automatically switch and stop automatically.
       6. Automatic startup success rate The automatic startup success rate is not less than 99%.
       7. The no-load voltage setting of the unit should be no less than 95% and no more than 105% of the range of the rated voltage.
       8. The automatic replenishment function requires that the unit should be able to automatically charge the starting battery.
       9. The unit should have automatic protection functions such as phase loss, short circuit, overcurrent, overspeed, and water temperature.
